The Theory Test is a multiple choice test done on a computer at designated Test Centres throughout the country.

The test is in two parts. 

The first part consists of 50 multiple-choice questions which test your knowledge of the Highway Code , safe driving practice and first aid.

The second part tests your skills at spotting hazards on the road. This is called the Hazard Perception Test.
